Adelaide indie rock outfit The Montreals have just dropped their debut EP Indigo Club, a raucous, Brit-infused three-track of singalong choruses and chiming guitars.

It’s been a big year for the fledgling band already, having scored support slots for the likes of Alpine, Andy Bull, Hey Geronimo, John Steel Singers, and Last Dinosaurs. Now, they’ve got an impressive debut under their belts as well, put together in Adelaide by Matt Hills, mixed by Magoo (The Jungle Giants, Art vs. Science) and mastered by Steve Smart of Studio 301 (British India, Vance Joy).

The record is out today through Marshmellow Pavement, and you’ll be able to catch the guys live when they set off on a tour of the East Coast early next year – keep an eye out on their Facebook for dates.
