With the sounds of their immediately-iconic protest record Reclaim Australia still ringing in our ears, rap duo A.B. Original have just dropped a clip for new single ‘I C U’ featuring Thelma Plum.

The vid serves as a sequel of sorts to their lead single and anti-Australia Day anthem ‘January 28’, which saw A.B. members Briggs and Trials investigating various jingoistic offences.

On ‘I C U’, the investigation has become even more intense, with the budget for surveillance tech now shooting through the roof. “You’re too busy watching me, when you need to watch yourself,” warns Thelma on the chorus, “I see you.”

It’s another savage volley from the pair, another piece in one of the most vital records to come out of Australian hip hop – or music in general – in recent memory. We’re sure it won’t be the last.
