After officially reuniting in 2012 and recently hitting Australia for Splendour In The Grass, post-hardcore legends At The Drive-In, one of the many strings on the bow of the prolific Omar Rodríguez-López, have unveiled their first new song in 16 years, ‘Governed by Contagions’.

What’s more, the band have confirmed a new album is on the way too. The band’s last album was released all the way back in 2000. Entitled Relationship of Command, it was critically lauded and hailed by fans as the group’s finest work. The El Paso, Texas band broke up shortly after its release.

You can check out the ferocious and fiery ‘Governed by Contagions’ below. Meanwhile, the album is set to drop via Rise Records and will be produced by Rodriguez-Lopez and Sigur Rós collaborator Rich Costey.
