With Santa re-shoeing the reindeer (reindeer do wear shoes, yeah?) and getting the sleigh serviced, Melbourne space-rock duo Third Earth are similarly gearing up for Christmas.

It’s as uplifting a holiday tale as you’ll ever hear, wailing guitars as appropriate as any jingle bells as the duo deliver a reminder of those less fortunate – we strongly recommend jamming this one on repeat at lunch with the extended family, just to spread the joy as much as possible.

That joy will be spread live this weekend as Third Earth play a massive Christmas show this Friday at Yah Yah’s, joined by The Pretty Littles, APES, White Bleaches and Stingray, which is pretty massive for only 13 bucks.
