One of the highlights of Matt and Alex’s triple j Breakfast run has been when the girls from Coda Conduct come into the studio on Thursday mornings and unleash rap verses about different towns in regional Australia.

With Matt and Alex’s time on triple j coming to an end, Sally and Erica decided to forgo the small town subject matter, instead penning a touching tribute to the breakfast hosts, and all they have done for those of us who wake early.

Fittingly using the beat of the Puff Daddy/Faith Evans classic ‘I’ll Be Missing You’, the girls rap touching lines like, “When the day comes we’ll be taking our hats off, but we’ll be leaving our flaps on.”

Although this may be the end of Matt’s and Alex’s run, this isn’t the last you’ll hear from Coda Conduct, who will be on shifts at triple j – give their latest work a listen below.
