Today we’ve got a fresh slab of funk from Breizers, a three-piece punk and funk fusion outfit from Berowra on Sydney’s North Shore.
Having emerged with their single ‘Party Drunk’ and followed it up with ‘I Don’t’, they’ve now dropped their debut EP Killjoy. Recorded in just two days in Sydney’s Jungle Studios, the record straddles the line between genres, merging crunchy guitars and singalong choruses with seriously sexed-up funk influences.
Killjoy is out today, and you can give it a listen below. If you’re keen to cop a dose of Breizers’ raucous jams in person, the band will be piling into the white wagon for a string of East Coast shows throughout December and January, dates below.
