Melbourne comedy troupe Aunty Donna have made a name for themselves over the last couple of years skewering every aspect of Australian culture, from the hipster cafes of Melbourne’s inner suburbs to our hilariously violent bikie gangs and unfortunate enthusiasm for ‘glassing’.

Now, the trio have taken aim squarely at our society as a whole. The whole thing starts off innocently enough, observing the many ways in which an Aussie Christmas differs from those of our frozen neighbours further north. We wear thongs! We drink beers! We… well, we engage in a few less savoury activities, too.

It’s always nice to see biting social commentary and catchy festive jingles meet as one, so give this one a look below, and catch more of Aunty Donna’s work over at their YouTube channel.
