Peking Duk have teamed with king of the late-’90s tracksuit Kappa, to bring fans a collection of unisex clothing, which includes tees and – of course – a branded tracksuit.
The trackies go for a reasonable $120, and are available exclusively through Glue Stores.
As Adam Hyde of Peking Duk explains, the collaboration is a perfect one. “Kappa is iconic. It was a huge part of our youth and late 90’s to early 2000’s culture in general”, he explains in a press release. “We wanted to create a collaboration that kept it simple yet had a touch of flair. Anyone that’s rocking the jacket, shirt and hat will feel it. It’s an absolute honour to have the opportunity to collaborate with them. ”
The clothing line will be launched in January at the Melbourne Emporium Glue Store
with an instore gig by Peking Duk – tickets are only available to those who purchase the collection in the Melbourne Emporium store.
