Great news for anyone who’ll still be tapped out after Christmas and festival-related spending this summer, as a great selection of local talent is set to take to the stage for a series of free shows in Melbourne.

2016 breakout band Camp Cope, emerging talent Gabriella Cohen, former triple j Unearthed winner Ali Barter and talented singer songwriter Emma Russack make for a brilliant assortment of names who’ll be heading to Melbourne’s NGV each Sunday in February to headline the gallery’s new Summer Sundays series.

Each gig will be completely free and all-ages, and will run from 1pm-6pm in the NGV Garden, with DJ sets and pop up bars and food vendors adding to the ambience.

The new series of shows will complement the existing run of gigs that take place each Friday, which see the likes of Gold Class, No Zu, Amanda Palmer, Olympia and many more hit the gallery every week from November through to March.
