Each year, as the world slowly realises that Australia is the actual centre of the musical world, more and more acts from our great continent receive international recognition, and – with that – a slot on the always-massive Coachella bill.

While this year’s lineup has received a lot of flak for basically being a safe blend of indie big-hitters and commercially-leaning hip hop artists, the Australian contingent is extremely strong, with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Empire Of The Sun, Jagwar Ma, The Avalanches, What So Not, Pond, and Anna Lunoe all hitting Palm Springs for the six-day April festival.

If you are type that believes Russell Crowe, Crowded House, and Keith Urban count as Aussies, you can also add Lorde and Broods to that list.

Coachella happens across two weekends (Prediction: this two-weekend model will be one that Splendour adopts soon) from April 14-16, and again on April 21-23.

Check out the entire lineup below, then whinge about how they got the billing order completely wrong.
