triple j have just let us in on their lineup of new music that’ll be getting a spin on the station next week and, as always, there are some exciting tracks and records on the way.

Surprising absolutely nobody, UK outfit The xx pick up the feature album spot with their upcoming third record, packing a more spacious sound than we’ve heard before, beating out Run The Jewels who nab the album packet.

Track-wise, there’s new music from one of our upcoming faves Food Court, and a new feature for Vera Blue, who will be hoping to see the same level of success with her new Slumberjack jam as she did on Illy’s ‘Papercuts’.

Nick Murphy’s new feature with Bonobo will pick up a few plays, but we’re really hoping to hear ‘Funeral Pyre’ from Julien Baker get a good run. The US singer-songwriter blew us away on her recent sold-out Australian tour, and is definitely one to watch this year.

As always, here’s all the new music you’ll catch on triple j this week.
