Australia’s premiere stoners and guitar legends Dune Rats will be continuing their search for Scott Green it seems, announcing that they’ll be heading out on a national tour in support of new record The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit.

The record is set to drop on Friday February 3, and the Dunies will be striking out the following month for a five-date romp, kicking off on March 11 in Fremantle, and wrapping up in Sydney on the 25th.

They’ll be joined by some bloody good supports in labelmates Skegss, and our joint Live Act of the Year winners The Gooch Palms – that’s a lineup we can get behind, and the band agree:

“Stoked to be partying around Australia with our mates and playing with a couple of our favourite bands!! It’s the most bullshit way to finish off summer!!”

Dune Rats have of course been pretty busy on the live front for the past year, touring locally and overseas, all culminating with an amazing set at Beyond The Valley – which they captured in a glorious home video.

The record itself has been produced by FIDLAR’s Zac Carper, and apparently captures a bit more of the Dunies working out who they are as a band. Whether that takes them beyond the sunny stoner pop of hits like recent singles ‘Bullshit’ and ‘Scott Green’ remains to be seen, but we’re looking forward to it either way.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, and you can pre-order a copy of the record while you’re there – dates below.
