This year will see another ripper new festival hit Melbourne, and it’s just received a boost to its already-impressive lineup with the addition of Hiatus Kaiyote frontwoman Nai Palm, as well as a DJ set from rising electronic duo Kllo and more.

The upcoming Good Island Festival on February 4 is a collab between Melbourne labels Good Manners and Wondercore Island, the latter of which is home to the Grammy-nominated Nai Palm and the former to Kllo – so the new acts make a lot of sense.

Excitingly, some of Nai’s Hiatus Kaiyote bandmates will also be playing in the guise of Uncomfortable Science, their side-project with members of Jaala and Vulture Street Tape Gang, as will respected Melbourne DJ Jalé. They join a host of talent including BUOY, Marcus Whale, Martin King, LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Oscar Key Sung, LOSSLESS and a stack more.

Working with Niche and i-D, the labels are packing these artists onto four stages across two Melbourne venues –  The Curtin and The Bella Union – for a whole day of music and art. It all goes down Saturday Feb 4, so check out the lineup and promo vid below and grab your tickets here.
