We all love music, and I’m sure a fair proportion of us also enjoy video games, after all, who can forget the time we reached peak Morrissey levels with his anti-meat eating video game? But now, yet another musician has come out with a video game, and this time, tackling racism is the goal.

As members of the music duo Sweet Valley, Nathan Williams, the frontman of US rock band Wavves, and his brother Joel, have recently made a game based around the topic of punching Nazis, something which has risen to prominence lately with the much publicised punching of noted white supremacist Richard Spencer.

The game, entitled Kill The Alt-Right, is a pixelated adventure in the style of ‘whack-a-mole’ arcade games. As the instructions to the game explain, the goal is punch Richard Spencer, while avoiding ‘precious things’, which include a child, a slice of pizza, and a kitten.

Backed by industrial music, and featuring graphics that seem almost on par with Doom, the fun doesn’t last too long, but for a few moments you can definitely enjoy the novelty of doing what punk groups have been singing about for years from the comfort of your own computer.

While it certainly isn’t going to win any gaming awards, the game is certainly going to prove to be an entertaining way to kill a few minutes when you’re bored. You can download the game on a pay-as-you-want basis here, and you can check out some game footage below.
