Tickets to King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s album launch shows are flying out the door like the proverbial Microtonal Bananas, with two freshly-announced launch shows at their hometown venue of the Night cat selling out in an instant.
No worries, a new show has just been adde- oh, wait, that’s sold out too. Thankfully though, a fourth show has been announced, so you’ve got another bite at the cherry. It’ll be a special run of shows, too, taking place in a 360-degree ‘in the round’ format and delivering – in true Gizz fashion – not one but two sets. You’ll get a set of classics, and a set devoted to the new record – that’s a setlist we can get behind.
The album is out Feb 24, but you’ll have to wait until late March to catch it being launched live before the band jet off to Europe and North America to quench the thirst of their newly-acquired overseas fanbase at festies like Coachella and Primavera.
