We live in a truly wondrous age of technology. Years ago, you had to rely on dumb luck and good fortune to meet likeminded musicians who share your passion before you can even begin to make the music you want to. These days, thanks to the wonders of the web, you can have bands who make amazing music without ever having met, such as Australia’s Two Sense.

Made up of musicians from all around the country, vocalist and songwriter Rowena Wise from Brunswick, Victoria, producer Jayden Rando from Bunbury, Western Australia, and guitarist Lucy Mills from Wollongong, New South Wales, Two Sense have managed to create beautiful downtempo indie tunes without ever having met face to face.

Under the guidance of virtual band mentor Harts, the group have managed to record and release their debut song ‘Firefly’. A dreamy, folk-inspired number, the track is the first taste of an upcoming EP from the group.

Having utilised Australia’s NBN to make use of video conferencing, social media, and file transfer sites to overcome the many miles between them, the group’s dedication has truly paid off, with the gorgeous ‘Firefly’ being a testament to their motivation and creativity.

Check out Two Sense’s video for ‘Firefly’ below, and be sure to stay tuned in the coming months as we’re sure to hear more from these amazingly talented musos.
