Artist Emily Becker has recognised that all pop punk kids eventually grow old, put down their skateboards, and end up returning to colouring-in books, while now framing it as some form of relaxation tool or awakening instead of conceding that sometimes mindlessly colouring in pictures is fun regardless of age or punk cred.

At least we assume this is why she has released the second edition of her pop punk colouring book, featuring Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Saves The Day, New Found Glory, and more of your favourites.

“The first book was my demo” Becker explains, “the first time I attempted to take my fine arts education and do something fun with it. I’m so lucky that it took off the way it did but I always knew that I could push myself to make something of an even higher quality.

“This time around I really focused on detail, improving my drawings, and incorporating the lyrics that have stood the test of time with music fans.”
