Hip Hop Hooray will see four big names in the world of hip hop team up for two massive Australian shows this April and May.

Ying Yang Twins, Twista, Trina, and Bubba Sparxxx will play the Big Top at Luna Park in Sydney on April 29, and the Metro City in Perth on May 4.

It’s an interesting and varied combination of artists on the bill.

‘Single Again’ singer Trina crushed it in the 2000s, with a run of well-received albums seeing her crowned the unofficial Queen of Miami. You may have also heard jump on tracks by Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and numerous other hitmakers.

Chicago legend Twista is perhaps best known for his American #1 single Slow Jamz with Jamie Foxx and Kanye West. It’s one of a handful of tracks Twista recorded with Kanye around the mid ’00s.. He actually holds a place in the Guinness World Records as the fastest rapper, being able to pronounce 598 syllables in 55 seconds.

Southern hitmaker Bubba Sparxx will bring some country grammar, doused in his own trademark swagger- while Altanta’s own crank crew Ying Yang Twins are touring for the first time in years; their earworm ‘Wait (The Whisper Song) still dominates club to this day.

Grab tickets for either event here, but you’d better act quickly as these shows are expected to sell out.
