Australia has managed to get some pretty amazing festivals over the years, with the recent Splendour In The Grass announcement just proving that we can still bring some amazing acts to our neck of the woods. But if you’ve ever despaired over the fact that the legendary Coachella music festival is too far away for a road trip, don’t worry, Major Lazer’s Diplo has got your back.

Supposedly taking to his Snapchat account this morning, Diplo shared a picture of a lineup to a festival called Goldrush, presented by Coachella organisers Golden Voice, and set to take place in Ballarat, just 90 minutes out of Melbourne.

The three day event is set to be headlined by the likes of Lorde, Gorillaz, and Midnight Oil, and features a number of other fantastic artists, such as Major Lazer, Kasabian, Run The Jewels, Solange, Mallrat, and a long-awaited Savage Garden reunion show.

Other acts of note include a rare performance by Carly Rae Jepsen, Eiffel 65, an unnamed collaboration from Daniel Johns, Ben Gilles, and Chris Joannou, Bette Midler, Australian Idol 2003 performing ‘Rise Up’, a Violent Soho reunion, Mark Latham doing slam poetry, and right at the end of the lineup, in the smallest font possible, Frank Ocean.

Of course, no date was shared on this poster, but even with a rash of fake lineups and announcements over the years, we can’t help but have faith that this one is going to be one of the best festivals Australia will see. So start filling up your piggy banks now, you’d be a fool to miss out on this one.
