The organisers of Bluesfest have announced a number of support acts for their sideshows, including basketball legend Liz Cambage, who will open for Mary J. Blige in Melbourne.
Cambage performed DJ sets at last year’s Melbourne Cup, as well as at Desiigner’s FOMO sideshows. You may also remember she made headlines in 2015 when she chose partying at Splendour In The Grass over an Olympic training camp, leading her to be temporarily dumped from the team. (More importantly, she was also the first woman to dunk in Olympic history, doing so in 2012).
Other additions to the massive list of Bluesfest sideshows include Caiti Baker, who supports Booker T in Sydney, BUOY opening for Corinne Bailey Rae in both Sydney and Melbourne, The Sticks supporting Snarky Puppy in Sydney, and Ruel joining on both Gallant shows.
Check out the additions, venues and dates below this footage of Cambage dunking at the Olympics.
