Having returned in late 2016 from a 13 year hiatus with new vocalist Ezekiel Ox at the helm, Aussie metal champs Superheist are well and truly back in full swing, and are kicking 2017 off with their new mission statement: ‘Raise Hell’.

A searing hit of contemporary new metal, it’s one of three tracks featuring on the ARIA nominees’ new triple A-side release, along with the equally-heavy pairing of ‘Got The Bounce’ and ‘Fully Loaded’.

Even better, the four-minute onslaught now has a sutably-apocalyptic clip to go along with its brutal sentiments, Ox relishing the chance to give us a signature dose of his brash, theatrical and unashamedly political style as a frontman.

The rest of Superheist’s lineup is looking a bit different these days too, with founding member DW Norton picking a who’s who of Australian metal in John Sankey of The Devil You Know, bassist Si Durrant of In:Extremis, and Keir Gotcher of Snot.

You’ll be able to catch the new lineup live on a five-date national tour this June, dates below, with tickets going on sale next Monday. Until then, get an idea of what you’re in for with the drone-shot beauty below.
