triple j always manages to have a bit of fun with festival punters, even launching Dr. Karl at some munted Splendour punters to hit them with a hard, cold dose of science as they attempted to recover in their tents.
Now, the station has played the cruelest prank of all on the enthusiastic crowd at this year’s Groovin The Moo – the old ‘taking a photo with video mode’ number. Of course, plenty of festival-goers were happy to show off their best (or worst) poses in an effort to get another shot to remember the event by.
Not all of the poses are completely embarrassing, mind you, and some people are just sitting there rather awkwardly hugging their friends as the seconds tick slowly by, but it’s still well worth a watch.
I’m sure we’ll all take our next festie snap into more careful consideration.
