“There are good people in the world, and there are bad people”, says Michael Jackson — or rather, MJ impersonator Navi — in the trailer for the forthcoming Michael Jackson: Searching For Neverland – a Lifetime biopic about the late star set to air in the U.S. later this month.

The film is based on Remember The Time: Protecting Michael Jackson In His Final Days, a book written by MJ’s bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard which exposed his supposed financial woes, his spiral into drug dependency, and probably some salacious stuff about Bubbles, too.

Needless to say, the film will be high on scandal, and low on production values – as is the way with these Lifetime biopic. It’s unlikely to shed any new light on the late King of Pop’s final days, but it’ll be amusing to watch Navi attempt to keep up his Michael Jackson impersonation for 90 minutes.
