Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, and part-time Fooey Rami Jaffee performed a stripped-down Foo Fighters set on Monday night at a benefit show in San Francisco, which included the debut of a new song.
‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’ will most likely end up on their forthcoming ninth studio album, which should see the light of day later this year.
“I figured on the way up here, I thought we would play a new song”, Grohl told the audience. “We’ve never played this before to anybody.”
It’s a mid-tempo tune with a nice swing, which actually sounds a bit like an early Fiona Apple song. Check it out, below.
