Prepare yourself for a long, strange trip as a massive four-hour documentary about the Grateful Dead is set to be released in a few weeks.

The Long Strange Trip is directed by Amir Bar-Lev and produced by noted music buff Martin Scorsese, and will feature never-seen footage, new interviews, and loads of classic concert footage.

The film hits U.S theatres on May 26 before launching on Amazon Prime, on June 2. It’s unclear which Aussie streaming services will get the film, but surely it’ll be headed here in a fog of smoke before too long.
