Radiohead are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic record OK Computer by releasing a deluxe reissue on June 23rd, but it looks like fans might be getting a taste of the record a little earlier than expected.

The 20th anniversary edition of OK Computer, titled OKNOTOK, will feature a remastered edition of the record, with a second disc containing B-sides and three unreleased tracks, ‘I Promise’, ‘Man Of War’, and ‘Lift’. However, according to a few Internet sleuths on Reddit, it seems like Radiohead might be releasing ‘I Promise’ as a single on June 2nd, a few weeks earlier than expected.

According to Reddit’s ‘/r/Radiohead’ subreddit, a user posted stating that they found evidence of Radiohead’s ‘I Promise’ as a single. However, the track cannot yet be played, indicating that the track’s official release date is still coming.

Soon enough, another user posted a link to a screenshot of the track’s Spotify page, which mentions a date of June 2nd, indicating the single is to be released on that date.

While there has been no official word from the band as to the actual release date of the track, fans are going pretty crazy over the idea of finally hearing a studio version of ‘I Promise’ Previously, the track had only been heard played live by the group over 20 years ago. Take a listen to one of the very few live recordings of the track below.
