UK musicians’ website www.musicradar.com recently held a poll of readers to find out what they deemed to be the greatest album covers of all time. This week they published the results of the poll, and the top 10 prove that the art of the album cover may well be dying, with only two of the top 10 released in the last 20 years, and nothing from the last 15. Will Groves, editor of MusicRadar.com, said: “The … cover is a reminder of a time when sleeve art meant more than a jpeg a couple of hundred pixels wide in your iTunes library.”
