We’re baaaaackkkkk! Tone Deaf’s fortnightly parties had to be put on hold briefly after fire damaged our Melbourne rock n’ roll HQ at the Ding Dong Lounge.

However, you can’t keep party animals like us at home, and we’re back in style as we hold a Splendour In The Grass Refugees Party at our new home, upstairs at the newly re-opened Laundry on Johnson Street Fitzroy.

We thought we’d come back in style with two of the acts we tipped in our Hot Aussie Artists of 2011 at the start of the year and boy have they gone on to big things! Red Berry Plum have become one of the hottest acts in town, picking up international supports left right and centre and joining the upcoming Parklife Festival, while Kristina Miltiadou started out the year playing with Marina & The Diamonds and then causing a storm the Playground Weekender Festival.

The Tone Deaf DJ crew have been getting itchy fingers while sitting at home on Saturday nights lately and they’re gagging to hit the decks until the wee hours playing a Splendour Best Of set with tunes from The Hives, Warpaint, Does It Offend You Yeah?, Pulp, Glasvegas, Elbow, Kanye West … and hmm, perhaps we’ll leave Coldplay out. Join us as we bring Tone Deaf back in style at the newly reopened The Laundry this Saturday 30th July from 8pm!
