Last Night I Heard Everything in Slow Motion by Oliver Tank

Wanted: Oliver Tank aka Tank.

Who the hell is Oliver Tank anyway? Is it just James Blake undercover? There are some definite similarities here…

He’s some mysterious dude who’s been found through Triple J Unearthed and lets face it, he makes some pretty darn beautiful music. His biography on his Unearthed profile says little, other than being from Sydney and his influences being ‘Mount Kimbie, James Blake and Boards of Canada’.

Last Night I Heard Everything in Slow Motion by Oliver Tank

It’s a lo-fi track with some simple beats, electronic overtones and a complementing strings section but what is really tantalizing me about this track is the gradual build up of all these elements to one final peak in the track. It sounds like the perfect soundtrack to an artsy romance film.

If you have any information about this Tank fellow, please let us know.
