It’s been 3 years since Faker last toured,and today the band have announced a comeback EP and tour to coincide with its release. Kicking off in Byron Bay on 20th October, the national headline tour will take in fourteen dates through five States & Territories this October and November, wrapping up with a hometown show in Sydney on 11th November.
Faker’s new line-up will also feature for the first time, with Chris Stabback and Liam O’Brian joining Nathan Hudson and Nichols Munnings.
Nic says of the line up “Nathan always used to say that he’d be pretty unfit if it wasn’t for touring, which makes sense really as a Faker show is often basically an aerobics workout for him. For most of you it’ll be your first chance to see us play our brand new songs live, and also to meet our new rhythm section Liam and Chris, who are both not only extremely gifted musicians, but also consistently stylish and well dressed. Chris also has the most impressive beard out of anyone who’s ever been in our band”.
Slated for an October 7th digital and physical release, the ‘How Did We Not Get Loved?’ EP is a five-track collection that features two album tracks and three new tunes.
