Following on from the announcement in September of the second Sugar Mountain’s blockbuster lineup, Melbourne’s newest music and arts festival has decided to add even more live music for fans in 2012.

Joining the previously announced Deerhoof, Tune-Yards, Shabazz Palaces, Thee Oh Sees, and more will be Absolute Boys, DJ Yamantaka Eye, Fox + Sui, Lost Animal, No Lights No Lycra Dancers, Pets With Pets, and The Harpoons.

This Thing, a Melbourne-based record label and artist collective comprising of DJs, producers, broadcasters and graphic artists, have also been asked to curate the final hour and a half of the festival.

The Sugar Mountain music line-up is complimented by its impressive visual arts program. Curated by artist and festival creative director Pete Keen, Sugar Mountain will showcase works from Vincent Moon (FRA), Maya Hayuk (USA), Kyle Ranson (USA), Ben Barretto, Kit Webster and Dylan Martorell.

Tickets on sale now via Ticketmaster – www.ticketmaster.com.au or 136 100. Tickets are $85 + bf.
