Camp Cope had a big year last year, and they’re wasting no time getting started on 2017, announcing this morning one very cool tour of the East Coast with the excellent Cable Ties – plus a secret show for good measure.

Calling it a “four and a half” date tour, February and March will see them make their way to Hobart, Adelaide and Sydney with their post-punk supports, as well as a gig at their hometown’s National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and a secret house show in Newcastle with Jen Buxton.

Not only that, but they’ve got a split 7″ record with US outfit Cayetana coming out next Friday Jan 20 through Poison City Records, featuring their new single ‘Keep Growing’ on one side, and a rework of frontwoman Georgia Maq’s solo effort ‘Footscray Station’ on the other.

If you can’t catch them on one of these dates, they’ll also be playing at the upcoming Laneway Festival – tickets for the tour are available from the venues, and Laneway tix can be had here.
