Lorde blew the music world to bit when she emerged fully-formed on the scene with her monster hit ‘Royals’ and debut record Pure Heroine, but since the prodigious singer turned 18 she’s been a little bit quiet.

Now, having hinted a few months back that a new record is on the way, her label has dropped a small tidbit online that may have just given away the date for her next release. Quickly swooped on by Pop Crave, it lists a ‘Confidential Title’ from Lorde set for release on March 7, although it’s not clear whether that indicates a single, or her next album.

It would seem unusual to drop an album without a few lead-up singles first, so our money’s on a new track. After a long few years since she reigned as the queen of buzz and chart success, the weight of expectation will be on the famously-reclusive singer, so we’re very curious to see if this mysterious release will see her climbing back to the peak of the music world once again.

Only a few weeks until we find out.
