What were your food influences when you were growing up and what kind of food did you eat at home or with your family?
When i grew up Dunedin city wasn’t the Culinary mecca that is today. So i remember alot of very boring meals. Meat and 3 vege type shit.
One thing i had EVERY single day was Cheese and branston pickle in some form or another on bread. Either Sandwiches…….or grilled Cheese and branston pickle……or toasted Sandwiches with cheese and branston pickle. It was the best and I thank my mum for that. As i still LOVE branston pickle on almost everything.
What dish or cuisine do you most like to eat on tour and why?
Well in California i like to eat amazing mexican food. In Japan i like to eat Amazing sushi. NYC i am obsessed with the pickles. What type of food do you make sure to avoid before a gig or going on stage?
