Festival Of The Sun 2010

Mark the Calander for December 10 and 11 2010. With only 3000 tickets available for a place front of the beachside stage, the need to get in early is vital to ensure you don’t miss out on one of the country’s favourite two day music experiences. This year there is only one ticket release, there is one outstanding line-up announcement, and there is definitely only one Festival of the Sun.

Festival of the Sun is an 18’s + event and children under 10 are free accompanied by an adult, BYO rules still apply, strictly no glass. General admission tickets go on sale from 10am, September 1st for $145 + BF per person and include two nights free beachside camping.Various on-site cabin accommodation/ticket packages are available in conjunction with Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park.

Festival Of the Sun is an annual outdoor music festival held in December at the Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park, Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia.

A celebration of the east coast summer culture and Australian Music, the festival makes full use of the unique location – right on Town Beach, the existing facilities of the Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park, and the central location next to the CBD. The festival completed its second year in 2007 to a sell out crowd. The Festival of the Sun website has a “Backstage Area” (Developed by Usync) where fans of the festival have access to exclusive content. In 2007 the content included free tracks from artists that played the festival and one lucky Backstage Member took away a one off Surfboard which all the artists signed.

The festival also includes a film clip festival called Sunscreen.
