The Most Dynamic Crack Squad Of Sonic Mavericks Yet Assembled in The Supernatural will unfurl every feasible flavour of four-dimensional hi-fidelic psychedelic fun, over three daze and two nites in an extravaganza befitting this landmark occasion.

A coming of age? More a progression thru regression. Back to the future. The Time Space Continuum has never wobbled like this. A wild joyride over peakier peaks, trippier troughs, rockier rock and funnier fun. More Classic. More Future Classic. More Cosmic. More Space. More Flow. More Specialists handpicked for specific hours of the clock. Ask a busy person if you want something done. Full employment; full spectrum enjoyment. Everything enhanced, naturally. Supernaturally. Preternaturally. Dennis Cometturalli. All under the light of a Silvery Full Moon….. and then…. for 51 minutes and 8 seconds, under the spooky red non-light of a Total Lunar Eclipse. Can you FECKING believe it.

Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere. Troposphere. Can’t be jinxed. Unmissable for purist and tourist alike.

FOTSUN provides the rarest of ‘Aussie Backyard BBQ’vibes like no other music festival. With onsite camping and cabin facilities, intimate staging, a 3,000 capacity and unique BYO policy (no glass rules apply), this will be a weekend to make some fond musical memories.
And be sure to pack your togs amongst your tins, as an opportunity to hit the beach is only minutes away from the performance area.

2010 sold out in record time so when September 1 hits you’ll need to be quick. Regarded as one of Australia’s most popular boutique festivals, the hoards of returning punters ensure tickets won’t stick around for long.

FOTSUN is an 18+ event and children under 10 are free, accompanied by an adult. General admission tickets go on sale from 10am, 1st September for $155 + bf per person which includes two nights beachside camping. Various onsite cabin accommodation / ticket packages are available in conjunction with Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park, in case you’re inclined to little bit of festival luxury.

Don’t miss out on the ultimate summer experience of sun, sand, surf and the smashing sounds of some of Australia’s best talent at Festival of the Sun.

Our advice? Add Fotsun.com to your ‘favourites’, get you credit card at the ready, mark September 1st your planner and set you clock to get ready to ROCK.

The inaugural Southbound festival began in 2005 and 7 years later, it’s still WA’s only music, camping and arts festival.

Located in the beautiful South West town of Busselton, just a two and a half hour-ish drive south of Perth, Southbound has seen the likes of acts such as the Klaxons, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Public Enemy, The Hives, Kings of Leon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, John Butler Trio, Basement Jaxx, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Moby, Angus and Julia Stone, The Temper Trap, Birds of Tokyo, Dandy Warhols, The Shins and Bliss n Eso to name but a few!

The festival continues to bring sizzling talent from overseas along with the most talented home-grown Australian artists to you in the form of one superb and sustainable festival. Punters are offered and urged to take in the whole experience by getting in touch with nature and camping at the festival site over the weekend, so as to not miss out on one second of the good times on offer.

Southbound features leisure in the form of music and comedy acts, food and market stalls as well as various activities to keep you entertained over the weekend. The festival supports environmental sustainability, having won two “A Greener Festival” awards through programs such as sustainment carbon offset fees, a ‘green team’ for rubbish collection, “Tree for Tickets” programs, recycling stations and eco stalls.

To quench the thirsty taste buds of those of you who are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the Southbound 2011 line-up, we have an early snippet for you.

Hitting the stage at not only Falls Festival in Marion Bay and Lorne but also our delightful Southbound festival from the 1st – 3rd January 2011 in Busselton are San Diego four piece The Soft Pack.

You’ve probably heard their single Answer to Yourself on the airwaves recently and it’s easy to see why they are receiving industry cred and comparisons to the likes of The Velvet Underground and The Strokes.

To sweeten the deal they are offering a taster, with a national tour this July.

On the back of last year’s success, 2011 is going to be even bigger with the event drastically increasing in size and capacity.
Showcasing Australia’s best musicians, live music will span multiple stages, with an eclectic mix of indie rock, electronica, hip-hop, dub-step, rockabilly and alt country – a concoction that reflects the creative diversity of Australia’s musical community and its consumers.

Street, fashion, graphic and culinary artists will also be on display and readily accessible to festival-goers.

Armed with bigger and better ideas and an amazing fresh location MAPS Entertainment is excited to build on last year’s foundations and further cement Changing Lanes as one of the country’s most unique and innovative events.

Next you limit the capacity and exclude rugrats to ensure comfort while substantially increasing the quality and quantity of amenities, services, food outlets and the variety of food & beverage options provided.

Last but definitely not least, create a mesmerizing atmosphere by setting the events in magnificent, natural, green environments; show off all that natural beauty with ambient lighting and visual effects; and place within it art installations, holistic markets, cocktail bars and a plethora of performers — from visual and live arts mavericks to neo-cabaret stars.

Harvest follows a simple design: Take the line-up of your typical European multi day event, cut out the filler and the acts that everyone has seen once too many times and pack all the greatness into one incredible day for discerning music lovers.

An amazing start would be to convince Portishead to return to Australia after a 14 year absence. Then augment that coup by gathering a collection of the planet’s most outstanding and unique artists and performers in The National, The Flaming Lips, Bright Eyes, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Holy Fuck, The Family Stone, Mercury Rev, Death In Vegas, The Walkmen, Dappled Cities, PVT, This Town Needs Guns, The Holidays, Phosphorescent, Foxy Shazam, Kormac’s Big Band (with more to be added)

Parklife is a labour of love that started as a very small party in a park in March of 2000. We did it because we wanted to share the music we love with other like-minded people in a beautiful outdoor setting close to the centre of the city… and although it’s grown just a bit over the last 11 years the idea is exactly the same: Music we love, smiling people and a great party amongst grass, trees and (hopefully!) brilliant blue skies, right in the heart of the city.

Each year we do our very best to bring you the freshest bunch of artists in styles of music we think matter the most right now, constantly refine and improve everything about the show and give you a high quality Parklife experience. We want Parklife to be a brilliant, glowing day you and your best friends look back on fondly for the rest of your lives!
