Barry Gibb is the second major star from the still-massive Bluesfest 2017 lineup to cancel over the past few weeks, after he is forced to cancel his entire Australian tour.

Gibb follows Neil Young in exiting the Bluesfest lineup, with Young pulling the plug on his Australian visit late last month.

It doesn’t look like Gibb will be in the country anytime soon, either, with Live Nation offering refunds to his national headlining tour, “as it is currently not possible to reschedule the performances.” Byron Bay Bluesfest are offering Monday single day ticket refunds.

Bluesfest punters will still be more than satisfied with a lineup that features Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Mary J Blige, Zac Brown Band, Patti Smith, Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, Billy Bragg, Jethro Tull, and so many more.

To console yourself, listen to the final Bee Gees single, ‘This Is Where I Came In’ below – a brilliant song.
