Sidney Myer Music Bowl
A summer time favourite the Sidney Myer Music Bowl has housed some of the best concerts, gigs and festivals for over 50 years. Holding up to 25,000 people with seating available, it is a versatile outdoor amphitheatre situated in King’s Domain Gardens in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Walking distance to the Arts Centre and Southbank precinct, it has hosted everything from it’s annual ‘Carols By Candlelight’ to dance festival ‘Summadayze’.
Designed and named after the philanthropist Sidney Myer, who was a businessman, violinist and drew influence for the design and style of the venue from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
