Sure, Gorillaz’ new album is due any minute now, but for fans who are sitting there just twiddling their thumbs expectantly until it drops, here’s something that might stave off the cravings for a little while.

Their classic Demon Days is set to receive one hell of a reissue that will see the record pressed on twin slabs of glorious red vinyl, accompanied by an assortment of goodies like stickers and prints all packed into one very nice album sleeve.

An added bonus is that the record has been half-speed remastered for the release, a process that allows the grooves longer to be cut, supposedly resulting in cleaner high frequency response – sure to please audiophiles, although perhaps not a huge deal for those of us whose ears have become slightly deadened after one too many gigs.

The record will be an exclusive release through vinyl subscription service Vinyl Me, Please, Music Feeds report, and you’ll need to have signed up by Saturday April 15 if you hope to get your hands on a copy.

You can check out the unboxing below to see if you need this one on your shelf.
