The Sun Blindness (Album Launch)
Friday 26th August @ Cherry Bar
Featuring: Immigrant Union, The Ovals, The Sun Blindness
Tickets: No Presale

The Sun Blindness are set to unleash a forest of magic mushrooms, fairy dust and pulsating kaleidoscopic strobes as Tone Deaf’s Deaf Sessions present Melbourne’s own psychedelic warlocks The Sun Blindness as they launch their sophomore album Far Arden at Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane. Since their 2008 debut LP, Like Pearly Clouds – an album which RRR’s Stephen Walker described as “A bliss bomb seamlessly assembled” – they’re set to release another long player full of earthy, dreamy, layered acoustic and shimmering electric guitars sprinkled with splashes of synth, percussion and soaring, reverb drenched vocals.
They’ll be joined by Melbourne’s favourite country rock supergroup Immigrant Union, featuring members of The Dandy Warhols, The Galvatrons and The Lazy Sons, who urban legend says actually formed at Cherry Bar. Opening up proceedings with the keyboard driven psychedelic krautrock of The Ovals, this line up is the ultimate trip. Doors open at 8pm and with the headline band on at 11pm, get down early to ensure you get in.
