Since going to America as The Follow and returning to Australia as The Art last year, the band have been busting their chops playing with a who’s who of international bands – from Marilyn Manson to Them Crooked Vultures – serving up a triple dose of effervescent rock n’ roll howling.

Joining them for a massive night will be Tone Deaf’s exciting discoveries Kingswood, who you’d swear had Bon Scott reincarnated out front with his primal wail. Adding extra tang to the toppings on this rock n’ roll pizza are the existential power pop of Wilfed Jackal, Brisvegas’ rolling thunder revue with The Cairos and making their leap on to the big stage, the shimmering horizons of The Promised Land.

Getting us back in the groove we’ve called in one of our favourite bands to headline with the brain shattering Sabbath meets Led Zeppelin rock n’ roll beast that is the mighty Redcoats! Headlining their only club show on their first Australian tour are London’s Noxshi, bringing their Wolfmother meets Led Zeppelin apocalyptic space-grunge to this intimate show. Front man Yoriyos’ old man Yusuf Islam, AKA Cat Stevens ,wanted to play too; but we politely explained we only have the hottest up and coming bands so we sent him to play Rod Laver Arena down the road.

Joining them on this massive line-up are the strutting rock storm of Dead Actors Club, and the electro rock explosions of Black & White. Add to this the psychedelic storm in heaven of Adelaide’s Lady Strangelove, the narcoleptic drone rock of our latest discoveries Buried Feather trading licks with the desert rock riffage of Crazy Craw and we’ve got one huge night of rock n’ roll damnation.
