Having just recently sold out shows across the country, Mosquito Coast aren’t resting on their laurels. They took over Brisbane’s BIGSOUND and Bunbury’s Groovin The Moo and now they’re set to take on your town with their 11-date national tour, which kicks off in the new year and will see the duo on the road through February until the start of March.

The band, who came to national attention after winning triple j Unearthed High, will be celebrating their forthcoming EP, Television Love. The release is set to drop independently Friday, 16th December and will feature more of the sun-kissed jangle pop the duo have become known for, including the single ‘Let’s Be Friends’, just in time for your summer.

‘Let’s Be Friends’ follows the release of ‘Call My Name’, which received widespread airplay on triple j following their Unearthed High win and came in at Number 101 in the Hottest 100 this year, and ‘Commotion’, which removed any doubt that 17-year-olds Naomi Robinson and Conor Barton were two of Australia’s most poised indie-pop songsmiths.

Meanwhile, Television Love was recorded at REC Studios in Sydney and produced by the band’s good friend Carl Fox (Porsches), with engineering by Tom Garnett, mixing by Jack Moffitt (best known as the guitarist and primary songwriter for Australian sensations The Preatures), and mastering by Andrew Edgson at Studios 301.
