Unless you’ve just emerged from cryogenic sleep, chances are you’ve heard of Lorde and Flume before.

What you may not of heard is the Sydney producer’s new remix of the 17-year-old New Zealander’s ‘Tennis Court’ (aka the other big single that isn’t ‘Royals’), which has emerged online courtesy of the artists themselves, as FasterLouder points out.

Lorde (real name Ella Yellich O’Connor) tweeted about the remix, while Harley ‘Flume’ Streten wrote on his own account, “I promised I’d do a remix for Ella. Couldn’t be happier with it :)” referring to the 22-year-old beatmaker’s original offer last year to produce some ‘bangerzzz’ with the Kiwi.

The result is the six-minute remake of Lorde’s Pure Heroine single, which you can dip into in full below, which Flume also snuck into his Coachella 2014 set over the weekend. Lorde also performed at the US festival following her high-profile gig with the reunited Nirvana, fronting the Seattle grunge legends for their Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction performance as part of an all-female medley.

All that touring has taken its toll on the New Zealand singer, who postponed her Australian tour earlier this week – just days before it was set to kick off tomorrow to a sold out Melbourne crowd – on doctor’s orders.
