The volume of tips and rumours here at Tone Deaf HQ has been steadily increasing as the anticipation for the lineup announcement of Big Day Out 2011 looms closer. But the interesting thing is that over time 2 names have appeared quite regularly in our inbox; Soundgarden and Kings Of Leon.
We can now say that with some arm twisting we’ve managed to find a heavy rumor that Soundgarden may play. We heard that Soundgarden may headline Big Day Out 2011 playing on the blue stage. Kings Of Leon may also be the orange stage headliner.
Triple M recently broke the story that Australian promoters were overseas at Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago, and had signed on Soundgarden for a tour early next year. This fits in well with what we’re told about Big Day Out 2011.
What do you think? As always keep the tips rolling in to tips@tonedeaf.com.au
