The UK’s popular Rewind – The 80s Festival is heading to Oz for a new weekend music event to be held at BlueScope Field in Kembla Grange from 28 to 30 October, 2011 with a massive live outdoor line-up of 80s artists, who depending on your age or attitude range from the iconic to the washed up, the legendary to the ‘featuring the original bass player’.
Since kicking off at England’s Henley-on-Thames in 2009, the 80s Rewind Music Festival was a surprise success, drawing 30,000 punters. Last year it grew to capacity at 40,000 people and attracted the biggest line-up of artists since Live Aid.
Now the organisers are launching an Aussie version at the scenic BlueScope Field on the New South Wales south coast, with an extensive line-up of international and local 80s artists. It also promises additional attractions ranging fromSilent Discos to Live Karaoke bars along with Camping and “Glamping” options. The line up to date includes:

Saturday or Sunday adult: $99 + GST + BF
Saturday or Sunday child (12 and under): $55 + GST + BF
Weekend adult (includes early camping access from 2pm Friday): $190 + GST + BF

**A limited number of VIP passes are available on a first come, first served basis for Saturday and Sunday; they allow access to the VIP bar and viewing garden and use the VIP toilets! VIP passes are valid ONLY in conjunction with festival tickets.
