Are you sitting down? Because what we’re about to show you will most likely not only be the most awesome thing you’ll see all day, but also the most adorable.

Beck, who has been weaving in and out of the spotlight over the last few years, kicked off an American tour for summer that will see him play a number of headline shows as well as a few festivals sprinkled in there for good measure.

And if footage that has surfaced from last night’s performance on Pitchfork at the Santa Barbara Bowl is anything to go by, he’s taking his eight-year-old son Cosimo along for some of the ride.

How do we know? Because during the performance of ‘E Pro’, from 2005’s Guero, Cosimo makes a surprise appearance on stage, unbeknownst to his dad, and steals the show with an extremely energetic dance show, complete with some dance moves that would make John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever green with envy.

The extremely cute video comes after news this week that Beck will finally be releasing some new material, teaming up with fellow quirky musician Jack White to release a brand new 7″ single on White’s Third Man Records.

The double A-side is the latest instalment of the label’s Blue Series, and includes the brand new tracks “I Just Started Hating Some People Today” with “Blue Randy” and will be released on 7” vinyl and digitally on May 28th.

Check out the footage of Cosimo dancing below. If it doesn’t make you smile, then you’re officially a monster.
