White Stripes: I’m Slowly Turning In To You?

The musician who ‘composed’ the song used in the US Air Force Reserve’s Super Bowl ad aired last weekend has apologised to the White Stripes, saying any similarity to Fell In Love With A Girl was unintended.

The White Stripes put out a statement threatening to take action against freelance composer Kem Kraf, accusing him of re-recording the song. Kraf told the New York Times “I’m sorry it sounds the same, It wasn’t my intention, truly, truly, truly.” Bring on the copyright infringement trial!
