Fork, Pork, Dork – They all rime with one thing Yorke, and i am not talking about the town.

Radiohead front-man Thom Yorke has announced a new side project and has officially named it ‘Atoms Of Peace’.

At Tone Deaf we guarantee Thom’s project wont make your ears bleed, however we think the bands name has been slightly influenced by his recent Copenhagen appearances or maybe he just saw it on the back of a soup can.

However ‘Atoms of Peace’ music should do the talking, featuring Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers on bass, Joey Waronker from REM on drums, percussionist Mauro Refosco from Forro in the Dark and Nigel Godrich Radiohead Producer – not a bad first effort to save the planet.

Yorke & Co have announced they will perform at Coachella as well as dates in New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Santa Barbara in April but no Australia as the carbon footprint is still too big.

The not-yet-named Atoms of Peace played Echo Park – Los Angeles in October last year with a few members missing – check it out:
