With music that encourages you to do very little other than frolic in the surf, sip beer and soak up the warm rays of the sun, it would seem that Best Coast have chosen the perfect time to tour Australia.
Hailing from California the two-piece, released their debut album Crazy For You in 2010. In the months that followed the release the band received widespread praise, making appearances on almost every best of 2010 list you could think of.
This year Best Coast has received attention from the likes of Johnny Marr, Weezer, Vampire Weekend, Wavves and even Drew Barrymore (who made her music video directorial debut creating a celebrity-heavy clip for the Best Coast track “Our Deal”).
After a year of globetrotting Best Coast will once again make their way to Australia, this time as a four-piece. They will be playing intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne as well as already announced shows with the Big Day Out.
