Ainslie Wills Launches Her New Single In Melbourne

Written by Nicholas Jones on 2 May 2012

The time has finally come! Melbourne melodist Ainslie Wills will be launching her acclaimed single Fighting Kind at The Worker’s Club in Melbourne on Saturday 12 May with support from Gold Bloom and Lisa Salvo.

Currently doing the rounds on community radio nationally and handpicked as Zan Rowe’s Catch of The Day on triple j, Fighting Kind is the first single taken from Ainslie’s forthcoming album titled You Go Your Way, I’ll Go Mine.

Combining shimmering guitar hooks, sparse yet driving drums and just the right amount of handclaps, Fighting Kind captures Ainslie’s rich and soulful vocals that linger long after the track has ended.

Can’t wait until the 12th of May to see Ainslie Wills live? The brilliant video clip for Fighting Kind will tide you over until then, which you can watch below.
